Many Guiding Light fans are feeling a bit lost this week because they are feeling the loss of a tradition, the Bauer BBQ. Here is a look back at one of my favorite July 4 celebrations.
Part2
Part 3
While Guiding Light may have aired its final episode on September 18, 2009, its wonderful actors continue to persue new interests. It is my intention to keep you up-to-date on the latest news regarding the GL alumni.
Keeping up with the Guiding Light Alumni
This blog will now aim to keep you up-to-date on what is going on with the former GL cast members as they explore new horizons. Many of the stars you loved are involved in new projects, some in the genre, some on stage, while others have ventured on to something completely different! This blog is written and maintained by Tracey and Mike. If you have information you wish to submit for publication please contact one of us and we will consider your request!

Thanks for sharing this. The first thing my mother said when she got up this morning was that for the first time in her life, she has to celebrate the 4th of July without the Bauer barbecue. Now I can show her that the Bauer barbecue lives on, even if Guiding Light is gone.
ReplyDeleteKaren I think we all felt the loss of GL all over again this week. The Bauer BBQ was not on a tradition for the characters but for the viewers as well. Last years was extremely hard to watch as the characters spoke and you knew it was the last one, and their words were foreshadowing the end.
ReplyDeleteThe one I posted was a little more light hearted and fun.
