Beth Chamberlin has advised her Fan Club that she and some of the other actors have been very moved by the heartfelt letters and emails received from their fans concerning the cancellation of Guiding Light.
They plan to print these messages about the show, the characters and what Guiding Light means to the viewers and deliver them to Ellen Wheeler and P&G. The Fan letters can be a way of giving fuel to the fight to save the show.
If you would like to participate in this effort please email your thoughts and comments about Guiding Light to Beth at BethChamberlinOFC@yahoo.com as soon as possible and her fan club presidents will forward those emails to her.
This way you can be sure your letters will be hand delivered to Ellen Wheeler and Procter & Gamble.

I had a very bad day on Sept 18th. It was like I lost part of my family. Guiding light has been a part of my life for so long that I couldnt help but to cry over it being cancelled and no longer seeing those familiar faces. It wasn't just ANY soap opera to my and my family, it was the best. I too was one of these who remember staying with my grandmother and watching and then rushing home from school to watch. When they constructed the DVR - that was the best thing ever since I work during the hours the show was on. I would record and watch as soon as I got home. I still keep the last episode on my DVR because I just cant seem to hit that delete button. It just makes it to final. Please there has got to be someway to get it back on the air. The Guiding Light will be in my heart forever.
